Our mission is to promote the well-being of children and the self-sufficiency of families by delivering first-rate service that helps both parents meet the financial, medical, and emotional needs of their children. We serve both Inyo and Mono counties. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, closed from noon – 1:00. We are closed on all county recognized holidays.
Having a case with Child Support Services creates a record of all child support payments, provides a neutral go-between for parents, and can help both parents avoid court and assist with navigating the child support system. Child Support Services staff act in the public interest and do not represent either side of a child support case. A complete list of services provided can be found here; these services are provided at little or no cost.
If you are thinking of opening a case, or have been named in a child support case, contact us right away. Your local agency can help both of you know what to expect, and will work with you to make the child support process as stress-free as possible. We can even help you work out a legal agreement for child support and avoid legal court.
Our Mammoth Lakes Office is open Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am to 1:30 pm (closed from noon to 1:00) each week and is located at 126 Old Mammoth Rd #202, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546
